TURKISH RICE WITH PINE NUTS |

INGREDIENTS: |
|
| |
- 1 cup rice "checked"
- 1 cup chopped onion
- Walnut oil, KP
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
|

INSTRUCTIONS: |
|
| |
- Soak rice for 20 minutes in salted water
- Sauté onion and pine nuts in oil
- Drain rice and add to onion mixture
- Salt to taste
- Cook until water is absorbed
- Cover and lower flame for about 10 minutes
- When done - serve.
